Joan Jonas

A pioneer of video and performance, Joan Jonas (USA, 1936) is one of the most important artists emerged between 1960 and 1970. She began her career as a sculptor and in 1968 his interest shifts to advanced territory, mixing mediated images and performances situated in natural and / or industrial. Currently, she teaches visual arts courses at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
