Sergio Rojas is a philosopher, who holds a PhD in Literature, and teaches at the Art Theory Department of Universidad de Chile and works as Research Director at the same department. He has written a big number of articles and books. His last published works are: Escritura Neobarroca (2010), El Arte Agotado (2012) and Catástrofe y Trascendencia en la narrativa de Diamela Eltit (2012). Directs the research project Archivos: realidades emergentes para reflexionar un mundo inédito and is one of the researchers in the project Barroco y Neobarroco en Chile (both interdisciplinary projects are sponsored by Iniciativa Bicentenario del Campus Juan Gómez Millas). He has been visiting professor at Paris University VIII (France) and Texas University A & M (United States).
