Nicholas Rupcich (1981, Santiago, Chile) works primarily with photography, video and installation, focusing on the characteristics of image production and media today. In much of his work artificiality can be found s conduct throughout his work.
His work is exhibited in Chile and abroad, including some of their samples include: Transmediale 2012 (Berlin, Germany), Beijing Biennale 2009 (Beijing, China), 7th Mercosul Biennial, “Projectables” (Sao Paulo, Brazil), Chili , l’envers du décor, Espace Culturel Louis Vuitton (Paris, France). 28th Kasseler Dokumentarfilm and Video Fest (Kassel, Germany), Contamination Contemporary, Museum of Contemporary Art (Santiago, Chile). Rupcich study Finis Terrae University, then obtained a Master degree at the University of Chile and multimedia diploma Mac-PC Academy. Since 2012 lives in Germany thanks to a DAAD scholarship and participates in the Intermediate class in Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst, Leipzig.
