The video installation «State of Emergency» is part of the «On Location» piece, this project is a series of videos (site specifics) whose main characteristic is to build an audiovisual story to be exposed only to the same location where it was filmed. Through the use of different cinematic codes the project seeks to address in the same space the location with the fiction of that place. «State of Emergency» film reference taken as fiction films where cities are affected by disasters or outbreaks of contagious diseases. The video focuses on the time after the abandonment of the population, where the spaces are desolate and illuminated with emergency lights and beacons. In this case the visual narrative functions as a pretext to present the Museum Library, its spatial organization and the occupation of which is used instead.
