Solaris Machine

A community of autonomous electronic devices, built by hand, live in a tree outside the National Museum of Fine Arts. Among their branches, this artificial ecosystem uses the sun’s energy to translate it into small sound impulses. Like an insect, each unit has its own behavior, autonomous and unpredictable, owner of a repetitive song but always changing, synchronized to the natural rhythm of day and night.
This project is based on open source technologies BEAM robotics and solar sound module.
