Catalina Cortázar


Catalina Cortázar is Civil Engineer with mention in Structural Design (PUC), Master of Arts in Media Studies, and Master of Fine Arts in Design and Technology @ Parsons The New School for Design. Her area of interest is the use of technology in the creative process. For the past two years her work has focused on Physical Computing and Creative Coding. Her work reflects on how search engines are curating our results inviting participants to think from a critical perspective about how this technology influences our lives and its implication in our understanding of today’s world. Today she is part of DI-LAB, an initiative @ the School of Engineering (PUC) which aims to bring together the design and engineering practice.
